System Engineer
Job Scope:
- As a system engineer, you will be
providing IT implementation services to SMEs &
Enterprise customers
- Regular meetings with customer in
sizing up solutions.
- Regular visit to customer sites for
project implementation. May be required to work over the
weekends occasionally.
- Oversee the whole life cycle during
project
implementation: Requirement Gathering, Implementation, User Acceptance
Testing, Documentation
Requirements:
- Good command in English
- Able to converse in a confident
manner to customers
- Keen learner and self starter
- Diploma or Bachelor degree related
to IT
- 1 - 3 years implementation
experience in one or more of the following technologies:
- Clustering Solutions
from Symantec, Oracle (Sun), Microsoft, Redhat
- Backup & Recovery solutions
from Symantec, Legato, HP
- Strong OS knowledge in Solaris /
RedHat / Windows
- Storage & data replication
solutions from HDS, Oracle & Symantec
- Knowledge in workings of MS-SQL
& Oracle databases
- Experience with SAN (Brocade /
Cisco) & Storage (StorageTek / HDS / NetApps)
- Virtualization solutions using VMWare
or
Solaris LDOMs / Containers
