System Engineer

Job Scope:

As a system engineer, you will be providing IT implementation services to SMEs & Enterprise customers
Regular meetings with customer in sizing up solutions.
Regular visit to customer sites for project implementation. May be required to work over the weekends occasionally.
Oversee the whole life cycle during project implementation: Requirement Gathering, Implementation, User Acceptance Testing, Documentation

Requirements:

Good command in English
Able to converse in a confident manner to customers
Keen learner and self starter
Diploma or Bachelor degree related to IT
1 - 3 years implementation experience in one or more of the following technologies:
- Clustering Solutions from Symantec, Oracle (Sun), Microsoft, Redhat
- Backup & Recovery solutions from Symantec, Legato, HP
- Strong OS knowledge in Solaris / RedHat / Windows
- Storage & data replication solutions from HDS, Oracle & Symantec
- Knowledge in workings of MS-SQL & Oracle databases
- Experience with SAN (Brocade / Cisco) & Storage (StorageTek / HDS / NetApps)
- Virtualization solutions using VMWare or Solaris LDOMs / Containers
